Empowering Individuals. Creating Experiences. Achieving Goals.

Our approach

At Free Bird Support Services, we know that no two people are the same. That is why we shape our support around each individual, their goals, interests and daily life.

We work closely with participants and their families to make sure the support we provide feels right for them. This might include help with daily living, getting out into the community, building confidence and skills, or accessing respite when needed.

Our focus is simple. To provide the right support, in the right way, at the right time, so people feel supported, comfortable and able to live life in a way that works for them.

Whether it is at home, in the community or during a respite stay, we aim to create positive experiences that feel safe, respectful and genuinely supportive.

The person on the left has dark hair, a mustache, and is wearing a white t-shirt. The middle person has short light brown hair and a necklace. The person on the right has a shaved head, tattoos on his arms and neck, and is wearing a red shirt with the Kansas City Chiefs logo.

In person and remote options

Free Bird Support Services is based in Geelong and Daylesford, and we provide support across the Greater Geelong, Hepburn and Ballarat regions.

We offer both in person and remote support depending on what suits each participant. Some people prefer face to face support at home or in the community, while others benefit from flexible support that can be provided remotely.

Our focus is on making support accessible, practical and consistent, no matter where people are located. Whether you are in the city or a surrounding area, we aim to provide reliable support that fits into everyday life.

    Respite Accomodation

Since Free Bird began working with Alex, we’ve seen an incredible transformation. Alex has truly bloomed – engaging in activities like go-karting, farm visits, and trips to the open-range zoo. Through Free Bird’s support, Alex has built meaningful connections within the local community and made real progress toward his NDIS goals.

Free Bird takes the time to understand Alex’s unique needs, never taking a one size fits all approach. They are always professional, thoughtful, and genuinely committed to Alex’s wellbeing. Most importantly, Alex absolutely loves his time with Free Bird’s Support Workers – their connection is clear and deeply valued. We are so grateful for the care and dedication Free Bird brings to their role.
